We Worship Together
Worship at its best is an act of the whole community. We come to church on Sunday evenings from different places and we come with different gifts. We come with various stories and many questions. We even come with different expectations about what worship should look and sound like. But we still come to 5:30 Jubilee – despite our differences – because right below the surface we share a deep desire to be with other people. By hearing biblical stories and sharing our own, we all hope that at the end of the night we are more committed followers of Jesus Christ. Sound interesting? Come worship with us and find out.

We Celebrate the Sacraments
Baptism and Communion are central to our tradition. As a worshipping community, we try hard to maintain that tradition even though it can be a little mysterious. On the first Sunday of every month we celebrate communion and the baptismal fount is present every Sunday. When we aren't grounded in these rituals and symbols we lose something significant that connects us with the ancient story of the church and the life of Jesus Christ. Sound intriguing? Come and meet us at the table.

We Read Scripture
The sacred texts of the Bible always challenge us and sometimes confuse us. We take the words of the Bible seriously but we also take the questions that arise from the scripture seriously as well. We are committed to reading scripture in community, making space for the curious and the committed to approach the holy words of God with honesty. Sound compelling? Come and study scripture with us.
